The Watering Hole

This is me, playing through my buddy's Hammond conversion amp at last week's jam.  around $50 for the chassis (an AO-43) off eBay, $70 in tubes, and a few hours of work getting it wired right.  Layout (currently) is 2xEL84, 2x12AX7 (preamp and phase inverter), 1x12BH7 (reverb driver, currently unused), 5U4G rectifier.  It's still not done, right now it's got only a master volume wired, and a phase splitter knob on back (we wired it with a cascade phase inverter and it can get all kinds of cool tonalities just from changing the balance of the phase inverter).  Upcoming features--a reverb tank (the reverb circuit is there but underpowered, we're ripping it out and replacing it with a Fender reverb transformer), two more 12AX7 (one for an eq circuit, one for more preamp gain), and controls for bass, treble, preamp, and reverb.
