Wood board mount.  Interesting.  (pedal is a Skin Pimp MKIII)

That is cool as heck.  Good find.

I have been thinking about a wood false floor for my current project since the enclosure's sides are molded to the bottom.  Mount the wood floor inside with outside screws so I can access the innards without extra long wiring if parts were mounted on the real floor.

This pic has given me a possible different approach to how I might connect the parts together on the false floor.

Thanks for posting this, Dearthian.
:o :o  Chris, I come here to talk gear, not PORN!   ;D

Holy crap that is cool!  It almost doesn't even matter but... how does it sound?   8-)
No idea how it sounds Howie; not my pedal.  I pulled the pic from somebody's TGP Emporium pic because I thought the mounting was a great alternative to Vero after our discussion off-list and looked cool as hell.

oh, I get it... when you said "mounting" I thought you were more specifically referring to the wood looking board.   You're referring to the turret board build.
Exactly.  I was reading about Vero board and I see what you mean about being a little more advanced.  I thought the wood back was an interesting alternative.
Chris,

I've been slammed lately.  But this turret board stuff is the way may of the greatest classic amps where built.  It's how my High Octane is built.  The "turrets" or posts will look a whole lot like an eyelet board build, but the eyelets are just holes in the board where parts are linked, rather than posts.  I seem to have lost the pics of my High Octane board...  :(  Check this out...

http://www.turretboards.com/ Click on Valve Junior link.  Very simple pure curcuit on turret boards.... a thing of beauty.
Hey Chris,   how do you like this?

Looks awesome Howie.  I don't know how I missed this.  Doh!
That's my High Octane amp.
