I know you have the Spider Valve and I just installed the tube SV Pre and this thing sounds so much nicer! It has the real "feel" and interaction of a REAL tube amp now. Guess cuz it IS now, lol!! The amp is soooooo much quieter now and my guitar volume works correctly now. I'm using a 2x12 cab with a V30 and an Eminence Patriot in there. I use the FBV shortboard to control BOTH the amp and my PODxt bean (for effects only) thru the effects loop. This mod really makes this amp a keeper for me! For the price of a good pedal, it will prolly make this your main amp, just thought I'd give you a heads up bro....

Well I'm not really setup to record a live amp. I live in an apartment so I've been recording pretty much direct. I think there are some on the line666 forums somewhere. Trust me bro, it's worth it!

I saw that thing somewhere and it does look real cool. Voids the warranty however, (unless you can pop it back out easily)
