The Watering Hole

My buddy Joe bought an LP kit with a really nice flame top.  Not a BYO kit here, this was almost $800 for body+ neck.  Turned out there was a slight warp in the fretboard, but he kept it, and got a $350 discount.  Here it is after I sprayed many dye coats, and three shellac coats.

And here it is after I sprayed the edges with brown and red tinted lacquer, then sprayed two clear coats... getting closer. Tomorrow the tape comes off and then we start the sides and back of neck.
