I now have an OCD copy with the tweaker board.  This cicruit has sockets every place where there are differences between V1.1 through V1.4.  So it can be "converted" by changing a few parts, to any version OCD.  Since I have a V1.4, I'm going to set it up as a V1.2 (like my last one, and my favorite).   Should be fun to play with at Bertapalooza.

And second, well... I'll make that a surprise for when I get pictures up (tonight or tomorrow).  Hint...  I built it, but it's not a pedal.   ;)
Ok Howie...Now your just teasing us >:(. An OCD tweaker pedal? Where the F%&% did you find that baby?
Simple... I have a friend who makes OCD boards.  You just socket all the parts that are different between the 4 versions.
NICE! How much does he charge for a board?
I'll let you know.  I bought several things at once.  Do you want just a board?  Or loaded?
Price for both would be cool H. That way I can see if I have parts here and if not, what they'll cost me and then compare that to a loaded board.

Tonight or tomorrow huh?  That was yesterday and the day before now...  :-?
Sorry, busy weekend.  I'll get a pic of it.

Andy, I'll get a price for you.

What, you didn't see all the great pictures he put up?  Oh well, guess you missed them!  Maybe he'll repost them next year...  ;) :D
LOL, Sorry, been a little busy lately...  I'll try to get it up tonight.

Andy, I think I can get your  a loaded board for $20 plus whatever it costs to ship it over too you.

Carvin.... Bolt T kit, with HSS, coil tap, and Wilkinson trem.  A guy listed it on Craigs List.  I didn't have any money but we worked out a trade for other gear I had.  As you can see, I put it together but have not finished it yet.  I didn't want to wait til weather got better to play it.  I'll take it back apart and finish the body when it get's warm.  Gives me some time to decide what to do.  Stain... paint.... what color???? Suggestions?

You need something to show off your personality.  Maybe something like this perhaps?  :D ;D

ok, that's one vote for the Craigbert motif.  8-)
Actually, a light sky-blue stain would look good with that guitar. :)
or a powder blue paint job?  LOL
Nope - you'll want the grain to show on that one.
Black Krylon.  Definitely Black Krylon.   ;D

Make sure you carve some points on it first though...  :D
I will say this.  This is one very nice guitar.  Solid! Resonant.  Not sure I'm in love with the pickups, but that's an easy fix IF I decide I'm not.  The neck is great.  The guy I got it from lost the vibrato arm.  I have to find one somehow.

Now, anyone have a serious color suggestion? Stain or paint.  So far, I've thought about pearl white or maybe metalic silver or medium gray, might look good with that pickguard.

This was ya dipstick!

And don't cover that grain with paint, it looks nice - use it.

Yes - leave it alone colour wise.

seriously?  no stain, nothing???
Stain it and lose the pickguard!

I'll post a pick of the grain on my Levinson and you'll see what I mean.
Can't lose the pickguard.  It's got them pesky pickups and stuff mounted too it.   :)
Try a plain black guard.......

Howie...Tell me more about these OCD boards.

When you say you can swap/tweek between the various OCD versions, do I take it your friend has socketed the parts that vary between OCD versions?

What I may well do if thats the case is get you to send me a couple of loaded boards and say, 10 blanks depending on price and shipping. If the loaded's are going for $20, about $3 a pop for blank's seems about right to me but let me know.

A friend of my brother-in-law is looking to open a shop locally doing guitar and amp repairs but also dealing in upper end second-hand stuff. He has asked me if I could build some OD's, Distortion's and Compressors to showcase in the shop and this would be perfect.
Andy,

The guy who did the Tweaker boards was just building the circuit board, and socketing the 4 board components that are different.  There are also pot differences.  Plus, he sold his last two tweaker boards right before I asked.

So, instead, go here (one of my other boys at BYOC started a circuit board shop and has UBER COOL stuff for sale) http://www.guitarpcb.com/.  You can go wild there.  He has boards for Dyna Red, Honeybee, and all kinds of top shelf stuff!  You can buy boards from him, and I can hook you up with specs for the versions of of the OCD and anything else you need.  (He has some Big Muff boards and I can get your Skreddy Mayo specs, etc... )
I didn't see the Dyna Red or the Honeybee.  Where did you see those Howie?  I did see a board for a mini-Klon though... :)
Chris, my bad.  That is ONE of the two who sell boards..... the other has those two.  Hear (pun intended) is the link to the other...

Between those two... a wonderland of effects boards!
