and the rear...

I'l be applying the tolex this weekend. It will be matching the 2x12 cab I did. Even my daughters Yorkie was tired of watching me work, he's crashed on the couch!

lookin' good so far, Chris!
I think you should put CGTROX on the front as the brand though.  ;)
+1!!!

DUDE! Great idea! I would like to make it out of steel like the Line 6 one.

Or you could have a Stellar amp like this one! ;D

Watch out for those that might steal your ideas too!  :o ::) :D

OK, how about this? It's made of aluminum and only costs $22.00

That link didn't do anything for me except show a nice red X... :-?
....got Java?

Um, yeah?
Hmmm, don't know why it's not working. If you go to www.javasigns.com start from there, it's a really cool custom sign making site.

Try www.amplates.com. They should be able to help.
?......it looks like you just countersunk some screws to tie the sides into the top and bottom.

Why did you employ THAT technique?

Why not finger the sides or dovetail them?  This would be a sturdier alternative.

Other than that gripe.....it looks cool.
"glued and screwed" is used on a lot of cabs that get tolexed.

(also can double as the punchline for a joke.   ;D )
Actually FB, if you look at the top pic you can see where I drilled holes (not too straight  :D ) about two inches deep into the side of the top and bottom pieces and glued in some hickory dowels. On top of that I glued and screwed 1x2 pieces of wood from the inside for extra bracing. It's very strong and it's almost finished! I'm gonna borrow a good camera to take some decent pics of it when it's done....
