finally got in on one... don't shoot me, it's all pod farm... instead of two different takes, I'm posting one take with two different tones... couldn't decide, and both of them are somewhat "meh"...

Nice takes Charger ! Sounds wise, the first sounds a little too "fizzy" to my ears. I prefer your second take... just a matter of taste. :)

I agree that the second sounds better but the first one could work in a different context. Both are pretty cool fuzz-ish tones, though.
I did another... brought the prs out of retirement, seems to be the tonal element that I've been missing lately. Guitar is mixed a little loud maybe but this was mostly a tone test. Take starts out a little iffy but gets better, promise ;)

Here's my go at this.
All les paul now with the jimmy page wiring and new pickups.
1st bit is neck pickup single coil tap.
from 1.07 I simply pull the neck tone push/pull that then puts neck and bridge in series together.
amp is podx3.
Oh yes, and I left all the bum notes in for good measure ;D

The end of my first take is really grating on my nerves where I fucked it up, so I have re-recorded the end part, and used a different sound too.

Charger - I like the tones in your first take best. Just personal preference.
Jon, As much as I would have enjoyed a vid of the fucker burning, I like hearing it more. Excellent mods.
