Totally  Repetitious so probably a good blank canvas for jamming.

Thanks Fingers.  Vaguely reminiscent of Lou Reed.

Timing is everything, I have little!

will probably do this again... didn't have much time today, had to clean the gutters :(

kinda crowded, rhythmish guitar and two ebow takes mushed together. stumbled on the ebow version of cathedral though, so, that was a plus. heh.

edit: and listening back now, the mix is crap.. bah. k, I'll get back to this sometime this week.

Yeah I see what you mean about Lou Reed - "walk on the wild side" rip

Nice take Tobe - laid back  fits in well

The Ebow  works really well sheep - kinda crowded  but it's interesting - has a mad trippy celtic vibe to it

Just did a take

very good Marco
you fit Lou in well :)
alright, so a week or so... I can't decide what to post, so here's the jams on this that actually made it out of the mixer - they're all strat/flexi.

second attempt, tried to trade solos with two takes. mixed in too much delay and didn't save the tracks... boo.

next, I tried using the drivemaster for a couple takes...

was not happy with that really - the tone is kinda cool but has this compressed/flat quality, so I spent a week on tubes, mics and various other tweaking.

the result: this one sounds different to be sure (can hear the closet buzzing at one point (hehe)) but I'm not sure it's actually better.
there's also some funky tube phase-ish distortion going on.. weird - they were just freaking out.
second guitar in the beginning was another take that wasn't supposed to be used alongside this one, but sounded ok, so I used it.

more tweaks to do (needs more boom - less plinky).. but the neat thing is (though not evident here) I found out how to make the flexi sound like a fuzz - like a fulltone '70 fuzz, to be more precise. pretty sweet, but I'm probably the only one who will think that sounds good. lol.

the other two takes that I never got to the point of mixing used minor modes.. interesting, but could never get it to work out through the whole thing. might do that later.. but in all honesty, I'm looking forward to a new jam - nothing wrong with this one, but it's burned out for me.
119 and 1119 are the winners !! ...at least, for me :)

119 for the sounds, 1119 for the melodic  line.

Maestro ! :)

Ciao !

I am chuffed that you played it to the point of being sick of it after a week.
