was not happy with that really - the tone is kinda cool but has this compressed/flat quality, so I spent a week on tubes, mics and various other tweaking.
the result: this one sounds different to be sure (can hear the closet buzzing at one point (hehe)) but I'm not sure it's actually better. there's also some funky tube phase-ish distortion going on.. weird - they were just freaking out. second guitar in the beginning was another take that wasn't supposed to be used alongside this one, but sounded ok, so I used it.

more tweaks to do (needs more boom - less plinky).. but the neat thing is (though not evident here) I found out how to make the flexi sound like a fuzz - like a fulltone '70 fuzz, to be more precise. pretty sweet, but I'm probably the only one who will think that sounds good. lol.
the other two takes that I never got to the point of mixing used minor modes.. interesting, but could never get it to work out through the whole thing. might do that later.. but in all honesty, I'm looking forward to a new jam - nothing wrong with this one, but it's burned out for me.

119 and 1119 are the winners !! ...at least, for me :)
119 for the sounds, 1119 for the melodic line.
Maestro ! :)

Sheep man
I am chuffed that you played it to the point of being sick of it after a week.
