:)
Just gonna pitch it up here. A bit jazzy? IDK but I will not be offended if nobody picks this one up.
Dicking with cleanish tones with my Strat / 6505mh. And perfecting my fret buzz and bass string scrapes.

Jazzy Schmazzy... I'll play. LOL ;D I don't know when I can get to it, but I'll certainly jam to it. I like the groove. Good stuff! I'll wait to listen to the takes. I'm well behind you guys in the skills dept. It'll take me a few days to figure the lay of it. I don't think it's that jazzy. I guess it can seem that way because the bass is a steady mover.
Thanks for posting!
Thanks DM.
I always tune down a half step and this was in E. Em7 first chord.
You sound good to me. I always like hearing everyone's takes better than my own. Lol.
Liked a lot your take Tobe! The sound of the lead part is really great! What have you used?
Here my "just a bit inspired by..." take. :)
Thanks for sharing!
Sounds excellent Marco. A bit inspired by Stevie Ray! Thanks for giving it a go.
Thanks. I was playing through a Mesa Flux Drive set to reduce treble and boost the Strat a little into the lead channel of the 6505 micro head with the pre-gain on 2. Jensen CQ12 speaker and e906 mic.
Here's a quick runthru.
I enjoyed both of your takes. I like the lead sounds on both. Nice spank on yours LWB. Yours has a very likable creamy sound Tobe. Dig the playing on both.
I used a new speaker that I added to my Iso Box. I built a little 8" Celestion 815 closedback cab. My old Gibson L6S with new SD '59 bridge and the Fender Bassbreaker 007 w/ a Chargermade OD-1 in front.
Here's a pic of the new cab in the box. It has a tight fitting lid and is mostly silent. Monitor thru my monitors in realtime. I can use either mic or both.
Great take Dean! Very enjoyable.
That is a pretty cool iso cab. I need something like that to crank it up a bit while recording. 007 is a nice amp with a clever name.
Very nice take, DM!
I like the iso cab too!! ;)
