I should have spent more time on this (like learning the progression in the second section heh) but "tomorrow" is almost over so here's a stab at it:

Not ready to hit the red button yet. LOL. I widdled away at it for a bit today. I just don't have the chops to fill that SHORT backing track. I'll have a listen to the takes soon. Interesting backing. Are you a half step downer?
ironsheep#8 · Dec 18, 2016 21:55 UTC
I was down a step and played it in "C" minor - "Eb" major... so yeah, think the BT is down a half.
Lwb#9 · Dec 18, 2016 22:46 UTC
Hi! Yes DM, it's half step down (Eb).
Liked a lot both your takes!! Good shot guys, it's always a pleasure listen to your versions! ;)
@Tobe: Yep, new (fake) amp! It's an emulated Fender Vibroverb (IKMultimedia Amplitube). I've purchased the Vibroverb and 7 other amps!! :)
Here my second attempt.

some major saturation there Tobe! nice take.
nice take two lwb (outro was my favorite part :)) - Amplitube sounds good from here!
DM#11 · Dec 22, 2016 02:46 UTC
Here is about half of it. I couldn't get a clean take. I was playing with some VST rack effects so its buggered up. WTF LOL
Edit:
I liked your takes guys. I knew it had to be a half step down. I play in standard tuning and I was playing in some strange places. ;D

Nice DM!
Everyone else too. I liked them all.
Yeah Sheep. The 6505mh has fair amount of gain and compression early on the lead channel. That was with pre-gain at 4 (noodlin' distortion). After 7 it's hard for me to hear any change in the distortion.
ironsheep#13 · Dec 22, 2016 16:27 UTC
heh DM - that half step is so disorienting if you stay in std tuning! Bb is tough on guitar when you're used to playing guitar oriented things - I've never gotten used to it, I just cheat instead.

It's funny you say that. I have a capo on my acoustic @ Bb (is'at cheating?). I was futzing with some open slide licks to the backing while I was feeling it out.
ironsheep#15 · Dec 22, 2016 21:52 UTC
capo isn't as cheat-y as me... I just tune down till it's like playing in a key I like! heh :)
