Yes..... I'm lost with all those moved topics .........  annoying.... >:( >:(
Ah, looks like we've annoyed a Frenchman!  Good, good...

Please continue.  ;) ;D
TB, you've figured out why I create new boards, and move posts!  Because your life of golf and scotch is much too relaxing, and I know you need something to keep it interesting!

haha, they took my whole forum away from me!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHA    :'( ;D ;D ;D
When I move things on the forum I moderate at, I usually don't leave a "ghost" topic.  On the rare occasions that someone thinks their post was deleted, we just point them to the correct forum.  Unless they're French in which case we usually toy with them for a while.  ;D
It's not an option with this forum software right now, Craig... I could probably install a mod that would do it...  The way this software works, it puts in a redirect to the right topic, and over time, as other topics get posted, the "MOVED" post moves off the list.

I foresee myself moving less posts and creating less forums over time... I think we're about right now...

DTR, do you want to moderate in the other forum as well?  No problem with me, I just put Dar on there because he seemed to be "the guy" for those topics.
I was just joking.  I proposed that forum idea  and offered to mod it, but there was no real "moderating" to be done, at least yet, anyway.  Dar is certainly and vastly more knowledgeable on technical items than I am.  But again, the "mod" has just been a title, not a job.

I was kinda proud though, that my forum had more posts and views than any of the others.   :)  At least from the standpoint that we could call it a music/gear oriented forum that had other things.  I promise not to hold a grudge if you make me Moderator of the beer tasting forum.  HAHAHA

On a serious note... I think I could go in and delete all the "moved" threads (and the mods of other threads could also) so the moved threads don't litter the areas they were in.  Most guys know now where they went.  Think the various forum mods should clean them up that way?
Yeah, that's not a bad idea.  And you're now a mod over at the new forum, too.

That's very kind, but I've already a MIL to keep my life not too relaxing ... ;) ;D

Yeah TB, we need an MIL update.
So how is the old bag....I mean...mother in law..the light of your life?  ;)  ;D

Charger, I think Chris should take the mod position in the "gear" forum.  He works in a music store and get's to check out way more gear than most of us, and can advise better on market values and so forth if someone is looking to buy something, since he's in the biz.

Thoughts?
I don't care who mods what.  If you don't want gear, I can give it to whomever wants it.  You have to use people's forum names though--I have no idea who "Chris" is.

Randy

She's 87, and she can destroy a sunny day as fast as you can swallow a beer....
Monday, she's leaving her big house to move in a small 2 rooms apartment.
Guess who will hire the truck and move the furnitures and all that shit ?????
Bingo, you're right: it's ME !!!!!
Not alone, of course.... my wife and her two brothers will help, too....  But, still ........I could have play golf instead .... >:( >:(
And all day long, she will be lurking and moaning about the "Be careful, son, these dishes are very fragile ..."  etc , etc....
ALL DAY LONG !!   >:(

Now, Charger, move this answer in the Mudslinging forum or create a new Rant one.....
87... too bad the French are so goddamn healthy.  She'll probably live to 100.

:o >:( :( :-/ :'(
Charger,

It's not that I don't want to mod the gear forum.  I'll stay for now.  Just thinking that Dearthian is probably a good fit there, since he actually works in a music store and gets to try  out so much more gear.

I asked him if he wanted to Mod.  Maybe he can join me as a mod there.

Hey DTR, considering the Dearth of posts in the recording forum and your recording experience you two would be well suited to mod over there too. :)
