in some of the forums???   Some of them don't offer you the option to edit a post and others do.  Why?
Depends how old the post is.  You can delete a post for two days, and edit it for four days.  Is that not long enough for ya?
something is wrong then.  I can't edit a post I just made.
just figured it out.  FYI to laptop users...

I ended my "session" and logged back in.  It said that my session had originated from another IP address, which it had since I use this laptop at work and home.  When I logged back in, normal options were there.

Ooo...  Never heard of a forum that put time limits on these things!  Interesting...

We did that on the WH too, when Mark got tired of people going back and changing their posts later, and making the conversation thread all confusing and shit.  The forum doesn't limit them, I did... I just didn't want the old problem where someone posted something, changed their mind a few days later, and took it down.  If you want longer limits, I'll entertain ideas.
I suggest the time out should be set individually...Mine can be set to 10 minutes, no more...
But that would allow FB to fix his spelling mistakes up to 10 years after ( pun intended).. ;D ;D
