A mate emailed this link to me the other day. After watching the clip, I checked to see if it was 1st April. Is this for real? If it is legit then it is staggering technology.

Yah they are great for prototyping.  The coolest part is that it can build gears and hinges and stuff in place. It's amazing.

I have seen this before on TV in some form or other. In fact it is in use in manufacturing as per some TV show I saw a little while back. It printed some thingy that had to be baked in a lot of heat to solidify. I can't quite remember what it was but it is a significant step foreword in manufacturing as I recall.

I wonder what the sound properties of a guitar body made from that stuff would be...  ;)
