Never did find exactly what I have in mind.  I'm thinking more along the lines of a bad ass sheep covered with plated armor.  Heh.

yeah, I'll try to draw an iron sheep... see how that comes out. the other idea I have is a strat in a case... "In Case Of Barbed Wire Sandwiches - Break Glass"... alternatively, a barbed wire sandwich in the case.

Do you mean to tell me that YOU don't know what the Sheepster looks like Howie?  Even after he made a video of him playing the song he wrote about you?  (And which I still have.)  Too bad for "Soundman!"  :D ;D

I stuffed the old pics back in the porta-potty I found 'em in.  ;)

I also think that perhaps looking at some real barbed wire can help out your picture.

it's ok, post away -- I deserve any and all ridicule for those days. I was a schmuck much of the time! as unpleasant as it is for me to reflect on my behavior it's at least a deserved discomfort. the people who were made uncomfortable by me don't deserve to be reminded. that's my only concern with that stuff today.

re: barbed wire: now that you mention it, there's a lot of that on the fences right outside... doh.

I'm from alabama. I'd do a double wide with a bearded dude with a shot gun in hand standing in front of it. That would be scary, and bad ass.  ;D ;D

that reminds me of a crazy poster I ordered from MAD magazine in the early 80's... best part was, with no collaboration on my part and after waiting the requisite 6-8 weeks for delivery (lol), it arrived! addressed to "Charles Manson"... at my address. awesome.
