here in Ohio, it was a better than fairly good weekend ,sunday being better than Saturday.
I was able to ride the bike for a couple of hours on Sunday. That was a pleasant thing. more tnan likelly it was also the last time for the winter. They are calling for snow this Friday (damn it). >:(
Maybe I can start playing more now that the bike is put up for the winter.
Indeed it was. We put our canoe and kayaks away for winter a couple weeks ago. Sunday afternoon it was 65 degrees and we past a car with two kayaks on it on it's way to the lake. If we hadn't already put them away, we'd have taken them out for a while.
I'm all for this global warming stuff. ;D
Draw a straight line from Jacksonville Florida to LA California, and I don't want to be north of that line anytime after September 15th. It was down to 51*F When I left the house to walk to the gym this morning and that was bad enough, of course it will be up in the 60's-70's every day here until May when it starts to get real hot. I don't mind the summers but I sure dislike the cold in the winter. Even the mild cold we get here. It does get down below freezing every once in a while in the night, but it always warms up by noon.
The forecast is for a low of 18 tomorrow here. We're going through some weird cold front I guess (1" snow yesterday, 2-3" expected today), then we "warm" back up to the high 30's starting on Wednesday. I don't mind, it's much better than dealing with the heat for me.
I hate the cold. Love the outdoors, and don't mind the heat. I'd rather play a double header in softball on a night when it's 95, than play one game when it's 45 degrees.
Freezing cold here..... -1 this morning. I fucking hate it ! Brrrrrrr
I remember the cold, I hated it. That and the gray skies from November to March. I lived on the New Jersey Shore, most of my life and that is what the winters were like around there, cold and gray.
North Jersey must be rediculously cold in winter.
Never been there, just judging it by NY in winter.
I remember flying over NJ to landing NY a roller coaster ride of pretty high winds in January 2000
In Manhattan it was only -15C and 30 mph winds - the weather was bracing. ;D
Flying in from the north as transatlantic flights do - Jersey looked like a candian tundra from the plane

Is that -1 Celcius?
If that is the case, then tomorrow we're expecting -7.8 degrees here... Brrrr indeed! :)
being a bike rider, I really hate anything below 50- I can dress for that, Snow, don't get me started lol

Yes, Celcius. I did hear that we are expecting -10 by the end of this week! Fuck that !
We're at -8.5 and still dropping (at 1:30am - coldest time is usually around 5:00am or 6:00am). This is 16.7 degrees F.
However, it doesn't feel as cold because there's absolutely no wind. Still, the bed's going to feel real good! :)
