We stayed at the 4 Queens, but the whole Fremont Street area is a little run down. We are used to the strip where the Casino's are a little more upscale, and so are the clientele. No more Fremont Street for us.
Only lost 6 bucks and Lynda won 15. The whole trip only cost us $216 including hotels, food, & gasoline.
$216??? I cant camp for a week for that! Not with food included.
Hope you had fun.
It was the low rent district Howie. Pretty seedy to tell the truth. We usually stay down on the strip and that $216 might just cover the room rent for 2 days down there (if we get lucky and find a good deal). In that $216 was 60 bucks for the wifey and I to eat at the Paris Buffet 1x each. The reason we went there is our community has a bus trip up there 3 times a year and a bunch of folks from my street (the happy hour crew) signed up for it but we decided too late and had to drive because the trip- was sold out. I never ran into most of my friends until the day we left I saw them in the morning yesterday coming out of the breakfast place.
