Back home safe from 3 days in Del Mar California. Sunday my friend Steve the Hollywood TV and record producer, and bass player extraordinaire visited with us for the whole day with his lady, and we had a great time lunching at Fidel's in Solana Beach, & just sitting around the hotel room swapping the latest stories (and believe me, his were far better than mine) Anyways it is always great to see an old friend and hang out. One weekend very soon the wife and I are off to Beverly Hills to spend some more quality time with those two. Yesterday the wife, her sister, and I hiked the Torry Pines State Park, and what a bunch of scenic views we packed in. All in all one of the best times I have ever spent over there since we moved to Arizona.

I had friends that lived in Del Mar (and have been to the fair and racetrack many times) plus I used to be a member of the Torrey Pines Golf Course since I worked so close.  'Tis a very nice area!  :)
The wife and I go over there and camp on the ocean front in Cardiff at San Elijo State Beach every spring. This year it is on May 19thy and 20th.

I used to live in Northern and Southern California off an on for from 6 months at a time to a year or two at a time from 1969-1970 to 1979. I used to take my kids there for surf trips starting at the age of about 13 and 16 (of my two kids) and we would stay for months to a year or so, then back to Jersey. I moved here to Arizona in 1997 and never leave for more than 10 days at a time.
Glad you had fun.
Thanks Howie, one of the best times traveling away from home in a long time. I will be about 10 miles north of there in  late May camping on cliffs above the beach ocean front campsite. San Elijo State Beach http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=662
Sounds cool.  I've never camped near the ocean. Always near lakes.  I'd love to camp near the ocean some time.

Actually, the "content" is currently unavailable.  Oh well...  I'll try again later I guess!  ;)
Works for me I have it set for public so anyone can view it (I think).
Here's what I get (along with a nice box, yellow caution icon and title):

It works for me, but I am always logged into Facebook whenever I click on a link to Facebook. I know you don't do Facebook, that may be it.
I don't either so I can't see them.
I see them just fine.
Yeah Chris you are a member of Facebook, I posted them to public, but I guess the folks have to be a member to view anything in Facebook.
