The Watering Hole

Guitar players, big bummer, I took my favorite overdrive stomp (Nady TD 1) apart today to replace the 12AX7 tube in it, and I broke the drive potentiometer circuit board (mini circuit board). So Lowell Hunt of Hunt Amplification has it in his hands now. Luckily I have a back up pedal board with a backup Nady TD 1 stomp in it. So I am still up and running but those Nady TD 1's are hard to come by, so I am hoping he can fix it.
$100 on Reverb. Hope the repair costs less than that. Of course I could have fixed it for the cost of shipping ;)

I would have sent it off to you if I would have thought of it but it was a strange setup It has a mini circuit board which holds the pot in place and it broke in half, Nady no longer has the parts as it has been discontinued for a half dozen years. If Lowell Hunt can't fix it, which he says he can he will probably have to wire it off of the circuit board, and bolt it to the place where it goes into the top. I tried to attach a manual which has an exploded drawing of the thing open but it would not load up but below is the link to the manual. The pot that is broken is the one farthest from you and on the right hand side it is the drive pot.

I'm familiar with the guts of the pedal. Also the Guyatone version. Basically, the circuit board is structural, and you can wire the pots directly to the board.
The biggest bummer on that pedal is it takes something like 36 screws and nuts and bolts to take it apart.
Thanks amigo. I never heard from Lowell Hunt so I'll call him next week.
