On my perfectly running Trek Bike, had it for 2-3 years and no problems. I ride it every day. Bummer, I have to bring it in tomorrow, cost $16. The worst part is driving all the way over to Peoria Az. on a heavily traveled road they are fixing in 3 different places. Oh well I bitched enough.
I thought "busted a spoke" was code for something else for a moment there. Actually that would be a good title for a song :-)
After all was said and done, I had to repair the repair that the bike shop did for me. It is too long and arduous to explain it but they fucked it up a bunch trying to get me to buy a new freewheel unit. I fixed the thing in 20 minutes without buying anything, but I got my magical fingers dirty doing it.
