The Watering Hole

As some of you know I become the Arts and Humanities teacher this year.  As a homework assignment I gave the class the option to listen to ANY song they wanted and then they had to identify the time signature based on what they heard.

I fully expected a lot of 70's rock because that's what these kids aloways talk about due to their parents being products of the 70's.  What I did not expect was for some asshole to go home and break out a fucking Todd Rudgren song.

So my question is.....IS "We Gotta Get You a Woman" by Todd Rudgren a REAL song AND is it in 4/4?
"And when we're through with you, we'll get me one too".  Definitely a real song as I remember it on the radio very well back in the day.  I couldn't tell you the times sig though.
I found this midi file on my computer.  Perhaps you can tell the time sig from it.

It's in 4/4, and actually a pretty cool song.
Thanks guys.  I never thought I'd have a kid in school.....2nd grade no less.....that would bust out a Todd Rudgren song on my ass.  I laughed pretty hard at school when I saw that one!
+1 Charger, 4/4 and a great song.
Yeah, I remember that one.
Haven't heard it in a coon's age though.

Randy
Randy, does a raccoon age slower than an armadillo?

At least we know they live longer in your part of the woods :) .
