Does anyone smoke good cigars here? I just thought if there were enough of you that did, we could start a "try one of these" kinda thing. I've started loving them. Just wondering.

Anyway, to answer to the original post, I'm not an expert but "Montecristo", "Cohiba" and "Romeo y Julieta" are IMO great cigars. My favorite one is "Romeo y Julieta"....maybe after a good brandy ! ;)

I am on a A. Fuente kick right now. Kinda like the small H. Short Story for a quick smoke. When I order cigars, I always add a few cheap ones in to try. I order from Thompson cigars so I've been trying different smokes with their label on them. They seem pretty good, but you can tell a difference in a good Premium cigar and the cheap ones, most of the time. I've always like the Macanudo cigars as well. They seem to be very consistent and a all around pretty good cigar to me.

I like a good Brown ale beer and a good dark cigar most of the time. Dark wrapper, I mean. Although, after about a six pack of Coors Light, any cigar taste good to me. ;D

And Craig, I know your gonna say something about my choice of cigar, Short Story. Go ahead, get it over with.  ;D ;D

When I was on a cigar kick back in the late 90's, I loved Fuente Don Carlos.  The OpusXXX (when you could find AND afford them) were good, but not worth the price that got charged.

On the more affordable side, I loved La Gloria Cubana Maduro.  Also liked Punch (when I was in the mood for something stronger), Onyx (those are some very dark Maduros), and Montecristos (Dominican or Honduran varieties).

A buddy of mine picked me up a Cuban Romeo y Julieta when he was on tour in Canada.  Just a small one.  Amazing!!  I've had a few since.  I've also had a Cuban Montecristo and Cohiba.  Still like the Romeos more.  Going to Toronto at the end of the week...hmmmmm....

I smoke Jack Herer cigars  ;D I roll them myself from the makins I got up in Northern Cali one summer ago. The ride home was hairy however. ;D I bought enough "tobacco" to last me about 3 years. I keep it fresh in the freezer......

I used to enjoy brantiff's.  Think Clint Eastwood.  Recently gave up smoke in favor of vaping.  Electronic ciggies for me.  Life is so much better without regular ciggies.

I have an Extreme Q Vaporizer, but we went back to toking small amounts of burnt "tobacco" The Vaporizer sneaks up on you and then it is........... "almost" tripping. Plus the high content of the vaporized "tobacco" chems, also was effecting my memory function so I went back to burning.

I do not understand the vaporizer, it seems to take all the fun out of it and make it into a purely chemical experience.

I like Cuban cigars, once in a while I will buy some legal ones... pre-embargo. The quality on these is totally hit or miss, mostly miss, because any cigar that old that's in my price range is likely to be mostly a miss.  But there's something about Cuban soil that makes them taste quite delicious.

I'm using those V2 cigarettes.  I like them a lot.  I smoke less and feel much better.  I'm sleeping better.  Things taste better.  I'm not irritable at all and I don't smell like a fucking ash tray anymore.  

You can get several flavors and they are cool enough to provide an adapter that you can take any other manufacturer and apply their cartridges.  That's confidence in your product!

Mine is also Northern California. Hi grade medical quality. Still the vaporizer is a good option for heavy smokers. Better for the lungs. All the carcinogens are in the burning. At just under burning, the active ingredients just boil up into steam without the carcinogens. However we are lightweights these days just a few tokes and that is it for us.

Never heard of them.  I spent time doing research before I went all in.  Some flavors sucked at first but then once I got over cigarettes some flavors started to taste better.  I normally wouldn't smoke a menthol ciggy if you put a gun to my head.  I actually like these a lot.

I have several flavors I like.  The cool thing about V@ is they make adaptors that work with everyone elses cartridges.  So you could buy one unit and use every one elses stuff on that one unit and figure out whose flavors you like.  I did try a throw away one before I got the V2 system.  It wasn't bad but compared to V2 it is not close.

I hadn't smoked a real ciggy since early January.  Saw my brother in law at a funeral recently and got him hooked on the V2 ciggies.  HE liked that they tasted like a real ciggy without all the negative affects.  The more he smoked it that weekend he just quit smoking his ciggies all together.  I tried one of his camel ciggies just to see what it would taste like this far removed from them.  I used to enjoy Camels from time to time.  Not my first grab smoke, but something different every once in a while is good.  Fucking hated it.  

I don't miss real ciggies at all.

Hell I haven't smoked anything all day until about an hour ago.  I used to smoke at least a pack a day.

I had done that for years.  You know how many ciagrettes I've smoked while talking to you on the phone?  Tons.  I don't miss them though.  I barely smoke at all now and what I do smoke isn't gonna kill me.

Went the E-Cig route a couple months ago and dumped my 25 year smoking run in a day.  Spent some of my saved smoking budget on a Pax fer other leaves...
