I will be up in Lake County, near Lakeport, Kelseyville, and Lower Lake from July 4 to July 9, I am also going to trip down to Watsonville near Santa Cruz possibly on Saturday July 6 to hang out with a guitar playing old friend from back in the hippy daze, he is a friend who lived in the same communal house in Cardiff By The Sea Ca. that I did in the late 70's.
I will be bringing my Ibanez RG and my Super Champ X2 and plan on jamming with whomever is up for it.
It should be a real treat passing through LA area on the 4th. I would prefer to go up through Vegas and Nevada but it takes 3 extra hours to go that way. The quickest way up is west on I-10 to I-210 just before San Bernardine to I-5 at Santa Clarita & all the way up I-5 past Sacramento to Williams then west on Ca 20 to Lower Lake. 13-1/2 hours blazing all the way up, stopping for gas and to let off wastes only. Food in cooler and the ladies usually asleep all the way up except for stops for fuel.
