Always liked his bits, especially the *Captain Chos* part in Cannonball Run..."dun dun DUNNN!", also like his Caesar take in History of the World.
When you think about it, 75 is pretty strong for him though, he always appeared to not have been taking good care of himself.

:'( He was one of my favorite comedians, I loved him in "The End" with Burt Reynolds, and his appearences with Mel Brooks.
He was hilarious in History of the World, Part 1...and his work with Burt was legendary.
Sad that he's gone, but good he lived a long life and made us laugh. Peace to his family and loved ones...

You can't forget his important, if minor, role in Blazing Saddles as the director of the gay top hat corp of dance boys..... Classic!
Oddly enough, I don't think he was well respected by a lot of people in the business... It seemed his roles dried up and appearances were few and far between but he definitely knew what he was about. Look at his kids. Sure, none of them has had lasting success in a starring role but every one of them is comfortable in front of the camera and very successful as directors, producers, etc.
