Fenderbender — Dec 13, 2012[quote author=Hookbender link=1355179857/0#8 date=1355263179]I have a court order stating that he, by name, isn't to be around my kids and it is the sole responsibility of my ex to see that happens. It also says that she must pay my attorney fees if she's found in contempt.
Here's the problem. Well, lets get this out of the way. I have absolute proof that the kids have been around the fucker, by her own admission in a text and eye witness. Now, the problem. There is no guarantee the judge will order her to pay my attorney fees even if it's in the court order. Second, what are they gonna do to her? What do I really have to gain be spending 5k bringing her to court for this after all the other money I've spent and lost in this deal? Just for the judge to say, come on now slut, you must obey the court order honey. If it's a gamble to even get reimbursed my attorney fees, do you think they will fine her or something? Really? They surely won't make her visit jail. So, what do I gain? From my point of view, I only stand to potentially lose 5k in addition to what I've lost already. Am I missing something here?
Yeah the fact that she knowingly endangers your children, it's called custody. Go get some. That's exactly the kind of shit I'd be looking for to fight for custody.
I went down that road kinda. I searched for hours, read all kind of shit.... I tried to find something to do with sex addictions possibly going from adults to kids, etc, can't link the 2. The court won't care that he likes sex a lot, even enough to cheat on his wife and destroy 2 families. They just don't see that as a threat to the kids. You and I do, but the court doesn't. Same with the ex. She fucked someone other than the father, get a divorce.... they just don't care because it didn't endanger the kids. Believe it or not, the court would say he's not worth a shit as a husband, but it doesn't effect his ability to parent at all. Sucks, but thats the facts my friend. I have one of the best , and expensive by the way, attorneys in Charlotte. I have internet. But I have no case.
When it comes to marriage, all you guys better damn well take into consideration that it is a personal decision to basically go into business with the partner. And you damn well better get a prenup and even have something agreed upon before hand on how to handle future assets. If you don't, you'll basically be starting over in the case of a divorce. This bitch even took my last chance at raising children in a normal environment. That is crushing man. That is the worst. Bar none.
