It sucks now
Buggy crap

Using Chrome
and Chrome is hardly great either

guess it is it is back to internet explorer.

which is shit as well.

Needs new competition.
Once I started working on making our business website I now have IE, Firefox, Chrome and even Safari installed to see how things look on each at different resolutions.

Since then I'm getting spyware crap thanks to Firefox and Chrome... Gee, thanks.
I think, overall, IE is best for PC's.

However, I use Safari on my Mac and like it just as well.
I read a story the other day that Firefox that it over-utilizes the CPU.  They were saying somewhere along the line of %30-40.

Here's the story.

Firefox started out good - the problems started in the last 6 months or so,  the new updates sent things downhill -I get  freezes - the problem is a reported one and FF blame it on plug ins etc.

Which is crap - it was introduced by one of their updates
I rarely use Firefox on PC.  I generally use Chrome on PC.  On Mac, I use Firefox.  Safari isn't horrible on Mac, but I tend to still prefer Firefox on Mac.
I haven't really had any problems with Firefox and I use it everyday, with many tabs, for my work UI, on a P4.  Chrome is my shopping/websurfing/discussion board/hulu browser... I love the speed but a few sites are not supported because it doesn't do Java.  I will not use IE.  Every time I use it I come away disappointed.  I have confidence in FF that if they get reports of issues, they will fix it.  I have no such confidence with IE... they will fix it, but they will also throw in another 3MB of code, break another ten standards, and then make it pop up two new warnings any time I do anything mildly interesting.
My business partner gets the FireFox lockup quite often on his laptop.  Forced him to switch back to IE...

Same here.  I never have an issue with Firefox.  Use chrome for certain things.  And REFUSE to use IE.
On my new laptop with Windows 7, the only issue I've had the the computer AT ALL, is that IE continually freezes.  Does it several times a day.  I Tried switching more pages to the "compatibility view" but it still happens.  Ebay crashes it at least once a day, usually more.  I've yet to have any issue with Firefox or Chrome.
I use Firefox for 90% of my browsing, rare problems here using it.

I also use IE 8 and it freezes up on me for moments then releases itself after 20 seconds.

my OS is XP home on laptop, and XP Pro on my office computer SP3 on both.
I've been using my Toshiba laptop with Windows Vista for a few weeks now on the road. Goddamn, why the fuck would anyone choose to purchase one of these fucked up things is beyond me, except on the issue of money. My personal computers will never be anything but Apple, period.
My Toshiba laptop has been GREAT so far.  The ONLY issues are the IE8 "mild" freezes.
My laptop is just fine. It's the Windows shit I hate. Fucking updates out the ass all the damn time....with the wonderful restart requirement shit.....UHHHHHHHH! Hell with um!
Windows 7 is much better.  I'm actually using my wife's computer to work on right now because I enjoy it more than XP...
Love Firefox...no issues here. IE is too slow for me.
