Be patient.  It will load.  I thought I would try something easy.  Fuck me!  LOL!!!!
neat! will the part left over in the pot produce fruit again or is the trimmed top the only source for more?

do insects eat the leaves or some other passerby?
I like how you've got the honey in a bowl of water there in the end... I've dealt with ant infestations in the same way!

It should, Sheep.  That is the exact same plant that produced the one I posted a couple of years ago.  Last year was a bust.  If I miss a frost day, (Maybe one or two each year)  the plant says fuck it and won't produce.  mild frost won't kill it, but it sure retards it.  I have three plants that came from the top of the one I posted then.

This top has been replanted and and growing fine.  I cut the leaves back.  They'll start to turn brown or get broken.  Usually by me with an errant weedeater.  LOL!  I haven't had any critters mess with them.  I have birds that like to get my tomatoes.  Bastages!!!

Although, I do get little fucking trail ants after the dog food occasionally, I think my wife puts the honey in the bowl because when the jar gets low like that, it can become sticky from her messy husband. ;D  No water, but I'll remember that trick if it becomes an issue.
Very cool!  Anyway you cut it, the pineapple plant is interesting!  :)
