The Watering Hole

Not really my thing but my son loves this band so we took him to see green day at the emirates stadium in London last night (60'0000 strong crowd).....but I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. The energy this band has and they way they get the crowd going is quite amazing.  Not the greatest thing in the world by a long way but damn good fun which is what it's all about  :)

Well aren't you a sportingly cool old man! HAHAHAHAHA  They ain't my cup of tea either.  Though they do have several songs I am fond of.  Glad you took your little man to a "cool" concert.

What I think is really great is that at 15, Oliver loves going to events like this with us....thinks his old man is a groovy cat (or at least that's my take on it  :) )

Yeah, that's very important.  My kids still like doing stuff with us.  I dread the day they are "too cool" for us.  hahahaha

I would take my kids to see them.

Took them to see.Frampton a year or two ago. My daughter (15) had a great time. Love the misic and show and watching the old hippies struggling to recapture a moment of their youth.

My son @ 17 sat with his head down pouting like a fricken 2 year old.

I'm surprised to hear that. A ton of teenagers are listening to old school rock these days. It's becoming a fad here in N. Carolina.

Yeah, that was great fun.  All throughout the evening they pulled out about 6 people or so at different points from the audience and had them singing or playing guitar etc, really good fun.

A really fun night and I would definitely go see them again, just a solid good time.
