Not worth the risk IMO, but definitely dumb to try without strap-locks! I've used some form of strap-locks since '79 when my '76 Les Paul came undone and dropped onto my friend's mother's antique table - dinged up both the guitar and the table plus got a load of shit from his mom... :-/
Shit I have enough trouble just playing the fucking things, let alone doing idiotic flips with them.
