I've been complaining about my JVM a little; but had a win today so wanted to share....
To start with; with finding the presence and resonance feature; my amp sounded heaps better - not as middy.
We only had ol' mates singer and 2nd guitarist today; so we worked on a couple of originals. We need an albums worth just as a project by November for ol' matey the bassist (yankee dude) who's gettin' married.
They'd already recorded and roughly mixed a jazzy first song. I just jammed a simple solo and they loved it. They recorded that to throw in the completed mix.
IT WAS ONLY A THIRTY SECOND SOLO - BUT I'M NO LONGER A VIRGIN.
(Just like my sex life I guess back in my early/mid/late twenties (thirties))
Then we started working on the first song I've ever written.... Big deal for me. Never had the confidence.
On a high..... One more wild turkey whilst I watch Webber fuck up another pole position and work a little more on my song.....
