Hows it all going.

I've actually missed bring here and just checking in - just started a few threads on Melband.com looking for a drummer so thought I'd drop in and say hello.

Anyway. I need some gear advice.

I just returned a Line 6 DT 50 (that I sold my Marshall JVM 410H/Mesa Boogie 2x12 v30cab to buy) and bought a Trace Elliot C100 Speed Twin 2x12 combo.
I've downgraded a little as WE'RE GONNA HAVE A KID IN FEB!!!!!!!!

So I bought this 2nd hand amp - sounds great but really knocked around.
I took it to a restorer who is re tolexing it; re valving it; giving me a custom made Midi footswitch and modding the lead channel to give me a thick; fat lead channel.

So my question is; being a 100w combo that can go to 50w by turning some valves off; what speakers should I get him to put in if I had any choice???

I'm looking for tight; fat; thick; non gritty/middy/honky/boxy high gain distortion oozing with valve tone.

Any feedback appreciated.

The main issue has been that I've never been able to log on from my phone.
Every time I just 'left' as opposed to logged off; it would come back and say my password combination was incorrect.
But now it seems to be ok - so hopefully you'll see more of me (if my wife lets me)

I'm sure we'd rather see more of your wife...  ;)
