The Watering Hole

Hey Guys, how's everyone doing? :)

Well, I finally made it here to the new place. Kind of strange though, I'm not sure what happened but I didn't receive a confirmation email or anything, and I didn't use one of those Hotmail type of emails either. But I decided to try logging in just incase, and I was able to. So either way, thanks to charger for letting me in.

First thing I'd like to say is that I'm thankful to Mark for The Watering Hole and for all the time we had on there. I know I didn't post often (although lately I've had a VERY good reason), but I lurked a lot and really enjoyed reading, and learning from, a lot of your posts. You all seem like a decent group of guys and I'm glad we got to "hang out". I know Mark put a lot of time and energy into it, and so the Hole will always be appreciated along with his efforts! There were some tough times too, and it's unfortunate that it got to the point where he felt like he had to close it down. In spite of that, I still think the Hole will go down in (at least our) history as having been a great and fun place for us.

And having said that, thanks goes to charger for giving us a new place where we can continue our little group and community. Your effort and time is appreciated also, and I look forward to being able to keep hanging out and talking with everyone.

So with that, a round for everyone!

Talk to you all soon...
I didn't receive a confirmation email either...strange
BM&M...wassup my brotha'?  ;D

Long time no see.
Hey, do you toss at the green M&M's before a concert?  ;D

How's it goin' up in Kan-Er-Duh?  ;D

See ya' round....

Randy
Generally, if you sit on the "waiting to activate" point for long enough, and I recognize your name, I activate you.  This is for two reasons:
1. I can't see what e-mail address you are using to register when I look at the "waiting" page.  All I see is that you are not activated, and how long it's been.
2. If you use yahoo, aol, hotmail, or a few other email providers, you will never get the reg email... and time out after 36 hours.

Stratty! How's the go going, bro? :)

Yeah, it's been a little while...

Things haven't exactly been the best with me, man :( but I'll tell you about it in an email or something. How have you been???

And no, I toss out the BROWN MnMs... but sometimes I keep them and toss all the other colours instead. It depends totally on my mood. :D

Can-uh-DUH is doing okay I guess. I try to ignore it, that way it won't bother me, and I won't have to bother it back. We just try to stay out of each other's way. :D How have things been with you down there in Alabammy? Do you drink Alabammy Slammy's when you chillax or what? :D

Ah, I see. Well, it was just a surprise not to get one since I used a personal email addy to sign up. Either way, thanks for recognizing me and activating me so quick.
Brownie, good to see you here.  Hope everything is ok!
