I got a company iPhone a week ago - so I can access the site from the road again. Huge stuff...... I'll be in touch a lot more often.
I'm getting a speaker volume installed into the back of the hot rod- so I can turn up and push the amp without the volume.
Anyone know of these? I've been promised more tone.

I have a similar one it goes in the effect loop. (I do not use the efx loop for anything else) It attenuates the tone a bit, & takes away that harsh fizz.

It takes away the harshness, like it would just like when you turn the volume control on your guitar. Which is nice for bedroom level playing. Once out at a jam turn 'er up and all that nice grind comes through.
now I'm really confused...
A HRD shouldn't be "harsh" and any of these devices will reduce transparency... With volume reductions, F-M curve principles apply....
Sorry, some of the "better" attenuators are not bad, but I'm totally not sold on these cheapies. Turn you amp down, hit V1 with a boost = better tone. IMHO, of course... ;)

I ordered one, then found out you can getvs deluxe model - so I upgraded to a metallic red....
I just got my hot rod back with the volume switch built in; but for $ 50 US this pedal will be handy to have.
