I'm in the opinion that Craig doesn't.  I think he learned the hard way with his sheep to keep away from the 'bitey' end.   ;)

looks like this was just a "drive by" anyway.  Assman's posting got notably darker in his last days here.  I think he's been isolated at his home too much.  Anyone see "The Shining?"    ;D

I made a joking remark to Lance about being Jewish at TGP 3 years ago and I got flagged for it.  Almost got a detention! LOL  The mod PM'd me and said "I know Lance is your buddy and you were just having fun, but the reason we don't tolerate politics and religion threads, or even remarks, is that the average life of a forum that allows them is 3 years and we want to be here for a long time. "  

Why do you think that would be? Oversensitivity?

I would say ignorance. Most people think they know what their talking about because they listen to fox news or the preacher. They get their feelings hurt when they see what they thought was true is actually horseshit.  ;D ;D ;D

I thought it was overly sensitive, but i also got three slamming replies in the thead (which is what alerted the mod)

Lance had something for sale in the emporium.  Back when "buddy bumping" ( the kind where you reply in your friends for sale thread to bump it to the top, not the Craig kind  ;D) was allowed, Lance made a remark that he was willing to negotiate on price.  My buddy bump was " of course he is. He's Jewish!"  I got slammed by a couple guys before Lance went in and told them we were friends and it was a joke.   By the time i saw it, i was flagged and had 2 mildly and one pretty nasty replies.  Here, that would have met with " i'll give you $5 for it" remarks.  

Actually, that would be "I'll give you $5 for it if shipping is included."

(Just getting the facts straight.  ;) :D )
