No I don't mean that kind of fit. :D My wife just bought her mothers 2007 Toyota Matrix and I get her 2013 Honda Fit. (My old 2003 Corolla is a bit long in the tooth). The Fit only has 40,000 miles on it, The 2007 Matrix only has 25,000+ miles on it. The mother is 92 years old and getting a little shaky on the road so we bought the Matrix from her. The mom gave us a big discount, probably half of Kelly Blue Book high book.
Congrats! That's pretty impressive to still be driving at 92! My mom's 89 and hasn't driven since 2006... :)
I had a 2007 Matrix. It's one of, if not the best, most reliable cars I've ever owned. I hear very good things about the Honda Fit as well, so you did very good there, sir.
I bought a 2000 Odyssey with 181,000 miles on it off my brother in NC and drove it down here to Texas. Working great so far in limited use (I still have my leased 2016 RAV4 XLE Hybrid that is a fine piece of machinery). I have two larger kids and with the baby, well, the RAV4 is just uncomfortable, so I snagged the Odyssey. The funny part is, I had a 2002 Odyssey EX-L that I traded in on the 2007 Matrix. Trying to save money on gas back in the bad old fuel prices of 2007. :)
Good luck with the new rides, sir!

I also bought the extended 100% warantee on the 2013 Fit, it is still good for the next 3 years. Fortunately for us the warantee just paid for itself in spades. My AC compressor on the Fit went belly up last week and so did the cruise control switch, those two repairs (just done today and a bit last week) cost almost the same money that I paid for the 8 year warantee 5 years ago. I also had a minor AC problem on the Fit about 3 years ago with something called the thermistor, but in time for the standard warentee to pay for that.

The Matrix is one fine car. I have driven it several times to Northern California and to Las Vegas. it was a sheer joy to drive that car. I almost tried to get that car and let her keep the Fit, but she loves the Matrix. Anyways the Matrix is our road trip car from now on.
