Yep boys, Dream Theater is in the nati, and I'm going (of course). They haven't been here since Gigantour (the story I told you about meeting John and Mike backstage when they were on the way to the shower and wearing only towels) plus meeting Dave Mustaine backstage as well.

We talked to them for a minute and they were cool enough to stay and talk til their manager came up and said "what are these guys doing back here?" The security guard (a Cincinnati city cop) told him that we were off duty cops who were friends of his (the other guys were cops) and wanted to meet the band. He said "well ok" then told them to "come on." He was a jerk.
Mustaine was cool as he could be. He literally talked to us til he had to walk on stage. Told us to enjoy the show and watch from the stage side if we wanted (which I put up pics at the time) and "just don't mess with the women over there, they are ours" and laughed. After all the things I've heard about him, he was really cool when we met him.
Please tell us that your "WOW!" doesn't mean you slept with the drummer... Again! ;) :D
