Anybody checking out the new images of Pluto and its Moons. This stuff interests me.
Sure looks like a planet to me. Some of the descriptions from this article reveal some interesting stuff about the surface. I laughed at one part of the article as it actually refers to the surface as "the planet".
Cool stuff. (Maybe I should have put this in religion. I just realized the article is from the Christian Science Monitor. ;D )

According to the latest, voted on, definition, Pluto (and Eris, the even farther out rock) are now considered Dwarf Planets.
Whatever. We watched the Science Channel special yesterday about Pluto but it was a bit underwhelming. They say that there will be over 600 pictures eventually, but it will take about a year to get them all.
Actually it is the Star Wars Death Star all dusty and ready to come in and destroy the planet as soon as we send a space craft on a fly by. The Galaxy Council thinks humanity is far too dangerous to let off of the planet. It will be about 8 years before the big laser burns us to a crisp. So get your affairs in order........(And get as much strange pussy as you can, because there won't be any more of it in the universe), humanity is far too dangerous to be left alive to pollute the rest of the universe. ;D
;D That's right. Just in time for the new Star Wars. Don't expect too much death and dismemberment. It is Disney, remember. :D
Oh, and the Death Star will never make it past Uranus!
I wonder why the distinction between "planet" and "dwarf planet", surely they are all planets just different sizes. It's a bit like labeling people, eg "person" or "dwarf" - still just people whichever way you look at it.
Incredible pictures so far though. The distance the probe has traveled is truly mind boggling.
