I've never watched anything that's been that viscerally interesting and musically boring at the same time.
I don't know how I feel - maybe amazed at the techniques displayed and stunned at how truly lame the music was?
That was like using the most incredible tools to create something hideous. Kind of like Battlefield Earth.

Audio sounds like its from a finished tune, not like a cam in the room, as if he's simply "faux" playing along with, in fact, there are several spots where the hands are not close to the audio, heh - air guitar, baby! Course I could just be jealous, a truly live take (not likely IMO) or studio track, he still recorded those fluid chops at some point in time! Eat a salad.
edit: after a second listen, I'm w/Tripper, theres just no 'tasty' melodic phrasing going on there to hold my interest. He definitely makes some notey statements, but with no hip call/response type phrasing, it just loses me (quickly). It simply doesn't breathe. If he could trade 1/3 of that technique in for some interesting composition chops or stronger melodic passages he'd be deadly.
