I really detest this kind of jargon speak that says so much yet actually says so little.  This is from an "expert"

"Creating a "Blue Ocean" strategy for your company is all about differentiation. You need to reconstruct market boundaries, focus on the big picture, reach beyond existing demand, get the strategic sequence right, overcome organizational hurdles, and build execution into strategy. "

Honestly, the type of twats that come up with this crap should be taken out and shot  :)
You could just say, you need to work hard to reach your goals. ;D
big money in that "jargon."  Our company had a national sales trainer that came in for bi-monthly meetings.  Every time he came, my manager and I felt that it was all stuff we'd heard before, and only a benefit to the sales force IF they started actually doing some of the things he said, which they really already knew....  Sometimes the reminders do help though....

It was much more specific than this generalized jargon above.
Since I don't believe most of what is said by such folks. None of that matters to me. Long ago I learned to ask the question "What is the reason behind what is being said?" Once I did that on a daily basis, I began to realize just what the motivation for any speaker and the subject matter was. If it was selfless and without an agenda motivated by greed or other special interest reasons, I had a tendency to think good things about it. But once I suspected it had a hidden agenda, I learned to consider it as unimportant.

Basically I don't give a shit about most of what is said on the tube.
As I am a small business, all of that jargon is absolute crap to me.  There are two things that makes a business work, (1) listen to your customers, (2) Know the right people.    All the jargon in the world won't help you if you don't have any good contacts.  People are at last wising up to "corporate speak" as it means absolutely fuck all in the real world other than it makes those that write it feel important.  Anytime that  a salesman comes to see me and start spouting this sort of crap I show him the door. I want to deal with real, honest people who have something interesting to say, are personable and have a product that I want and no amount of dressing it up with that kind of verbage will make me buy it.  If it's a turd, you can describe it in all manner of ways to make it sound great, but at the end of the day it's still a turd.

I am retired so I don't have to pay attention to anyone. And I usually don't give a rip what anyone says, especially if they have an agenda. I usually mute the TV when an advertisement comes on. And I always mute the TV or change the channel when politicians come on. If they have an obvious agenda, I simply change the channel.

I remember one day when I was driving a big truck (Tractor Trailer) I passed some other guy driving a big rig in a way he did not like and he began a rant on the CB. I reached up and turned the CB off for a few minutes. My co-driver was amazed. I looked at him and told him I don't have to subject myself to some asshole and his rants. I simply don't get why people subject themselves to whatever they hear. I am very selective about what goes into my head audibly. Fuck it man I have mastered indifference, and it is amazingly liberating. (of course when I was a small businessman in the building trades I could not have that attitude, but I can now and I do).........
That's a really good attitude to have Dave. I do "try" to aspire to that myself although I quite often fail miserably :-) The new world of "bollocks speak" just really makes me angry.  I'm sure the big corporations think they are fooling everyone with their hyped-up over-bloated descriptions of their goods and services.  They simply use it as a vehicle to blow smoke up each others assess and stroke each others ego's but I'm certain it doesn't help sell any more product.  :-)
