Is this TV judge for real ?  I've been watching this on SKY TV lately and I love it the way she talks to the low lifes that come before her.

I'm assuming that although she is a real judge and the cases are real that it's not actually a real courtroom but a TV studio etc etc ?   Is that the way this works or is it a real court ?   Just cracks me up watching this (I also presume it's fairly old too?)
Your courts feature guys in wigs and you think our courts are funny?  :D

I just meant that Judge Judy's manner is really funny, not the process, although I have to agree with you about the wig thing over here  ;D
I've been to court a lot over divorce shit. ;D No judge talks to people the way she does. However, the shit discussed in in her court is ridiculous. That stuff doesn't happen in courts here.
Thats funny.  I don't watch the show, but I would have sworn that in one of the commercials for it last week there was a "Roy T. Hookbender" on the stand!  Had kind of a Manson look in his eyes...   ;D ;D
That would be me. :P

Supreme Court Of Comedy with Dom Irrera, Now that was funny. http://www.laughfactory.com/cat/51

Judge Judy, it is one of about a half dozen such shows in the US, all the cases are real (they say) but you can bet they are scripted, if not the "judge" I prepped for showmanship.
