My daughter is doing a semester of study abroad there.
She has been gone for nine days and I am pretty sure she is liking it better than I am.

I only live a 40 minute car journey away from London, or 30 minute train ride.
I used to love London, 15 years ago, but it's turned into a real shit-hole in the last 10 years. Gets worse every day... I avoid it as much as possible but sometimes have to go there to visit customers etc.

For a 22 year old raised in a town of 2k in Iowa though there is a lot to see and experience. I'll tell her Jon says it is a shit-hole! lol. She is in Scotland this weekend. Tried haggis without knowing what it is. ;D
