Bummer. The last of the original Jimi Hendrix Experience is dead. I'm sure everyone will agree, that he contributed a lot to their unique sound, RIP Mitch.

My favorite jazz drummer crossing over into rock. No other rock drummer was ever so loose.
Bye bye Mitch. Guess it's time fer me to throw on some Hendrix. "Do you remember..."
I liked the heck out of the Jimi Experience, RIP Mitch, hope he is jammin out in nirvana with Jimi right now.
I have to agree with the Charger man on this one. :(
Definitely one of my favorites when I was growing up - his free-flowing style made every song sound like a groovy drum solo. I still use some of his licks when I play drums - Manic Depression is one of my "tester" grooves when I sit down to a kit.
He will not be forgotten...
Tripper
sad. A big part of one of my all time favorite bands. You gotta figure, he had a pretty cool life. Playing with Jimi... wow!
