So, besides a puff or 2, why am I getting into 70's music? Listening wise. ;D ;D
Step away from the Skynyrd... :D
Hookbender — Sep 02, 2013So, besides a puff or 2, why am I getting into 70's music? Listening wise. ;D ;D
The puff or two is the reason ;D I take multiple puffs and I am still listening to 60's/70's music myself. ;D
Probably because there was more great music made in that decade than any decade since.
the quantity, quality and variety of music out of that decade is pretty amazing.
who was still listening to music from the 30's in '73? we had some old 78s around... and sheet music... but it all sounded... old.
I listen to lots of music from the 70's in 2013... and it doesn't sound old to me at all.
I mean, I like new music... but there is really killer stuff from those days that still sounds great.
hell, music from the 80's and 90's sounds older to me than music from the 70's! lol.
When I found out a few years ago that I had completely missed shitloads of wonderful Prog from the 60's and 70's while growing up, I've been a kid in a candy store.
Remember when some new band came out with an album you really liked then you had to wait (or, in the case of Boston, wait and wait and wait and wait) for the next albums to come out? Well, "discovering" some of these older bands is great because, if you like them, they already have a ton of other albums out for you to check out. Love it! :)
