Me and the wifey will be hiking around Canyonlands and Arches National Parks in Eastern Utah Saturday coming home Tuesday. Oh yeah, an 8 hour drive each way but well worth it.

Who also just stepped into the 21 Century and bought his first GPS Device. A Garmin Nuvi. I no longer have to go to Mapquest which is so 20th century.

I brought a GPS a couple of years ago when we took the boat to Australia and drove to Brisbane from melbourne (about 1200 miles). It was worth every cent, my wife never once gave me any shit about if we were going the right way, did I miss a turn, it even displayed speed which also stopped a few female questions, the other great thing was it gave an ETA to each town we put in, so when the kids asked how long to the next stop we could tell them.
My wife actually named it the car bitch, because it would say things like "in 100 metres turn right", "in 75 metres turn right", "turn right". I secretly think it took a lot of the fun of me driving away from her ;D
