I was thinking the same thing. She wanted a Kindle two years ago, then told me she didn't need one because she go the Kindle app on her droid. But this looks like just what she needs.
I have an ipad and no wife so i hold on to the 199. lol
Yeah, if it were me, I'd get the ipad. But I'm in the same boat as DTR. My wife wanted the Kindle also but got the app on her phone. This is a bargain compared to the ipad.
