His real name in Andy Zuckerman He is somehow hooked up with Queensryche, below is a post from his Facebook page.

"It's official... I'm running away with the Rock N Roll circus! Heading out with Queensryche on the 25th anniversary tour of Operation Mindcrime. Shoot me a msg, if you're going to be at any of their shows over the next couple of months. Tour dates are up on their website."
Yep.  Andy's a cool one.  I usually meet up with him when I'm down in So. Cal.   Good to hear he's got a fun gig!   :)

are you saying he is playing with them?  Or touring with a band that's touring with them?
Andy is a great guy.  Craig do you know if he is still with Line6 as well?
I think so.  I haven't talked with him for a few months now - so busy time is flying by!

I left a question for him on his forum so I'm sure he'll provide more details soon.

(If I was Howie, I'd give him a call, but I don't need to bother him for silly questions!  ;) :D )
Ok, here's the scoop:  Andy has left Line 6 and will be touring with Queensryche as their tech.
I did not know whether he was playing or doing some roadie work. Now I guess that is cleared up.
I met Az at the last NAMM in Anaheim I went to, about 6 to 8 years or more ago. He was at the Atomic amp booth when I visited there. I still had my PodXT at the time, so it was a good while back.....
Craig, do you have his number?   :P

Andy Zuckerman

Well it only took 4 days... I wake up, walk off the tour bus, walk into the mcDonalds we pull into to groggily order and it just dawned on me... I had no idea what city i was in and what time it was? Thankfully it was on my receipt.., Elgin Illinois 10:05 am. I just stood in line chuckling... The cashier must of thought I was mental... On to the next one.

Jim Cushinery I used to wake up on the bus in a hotel parking lot and call my wife back in LA to find out what city I was in, and if the bus was actually parked at the hotel    where I had a room.

Malcolm Lukens (one of the Likes on Az's Facebook post above) by the way was Roy Buchanan's keyboardist during most of his national touring days, I met Malcolm at a New Years Eve party 2008/2009 in Beverly Hills Ca at my Friend Steve Weinglass's home, real nice guy, and can he play.....as can Steve, both life long pro musicians. They all jammed that night at the party.

Lynda and I are off to host Steve Weinglass and his lady at the campground in Cardiff By The Sea Cal. tomorrow through Monday night. Even the high and mighty like normalcy in their hectic lives although I could not talk Steve into staying over on Monday night. He has to meet with some TV or movie producer on Tuesday and play out Monday evening.

See y'all on Tuesday or Wednesday next week.
And George Van Wagner used to run Line 6's online forums.  :)

Should be an interesting trip for him!
