For what it's worth.
If you use a blade to shave you've probably wondered about this little device on TV that says you can resharpen your razor blades umpteen times. Once I found I could buy it at my local Walgreens store (instead of mail order), I decided to give it a try.
I have one of those weird beards that requires about four times the amount of normal shaving, and from all directions, to end up with a smooth face. Needless to say, this wears out blades really fast and, at around $22 for four of my preferred Mach 3's (I use the powered razor and it helps a lot for some reason).
Anyway, I chose to try this thing with a dead blade right from the start and it seemed to work well. Now, after resharpening the same blade FOUR more times and having it still give me a really good shave, I must admit that I'm a believer!
Usually, a blade dies in a week or so and then won't cut well (except for my skin!). This blade has been going strong for over a month not even counting the first week or so of its normal life.
Just thought I'd pass this along! Best $20 I've spent in a while. :)
