The wifey brought me home two pair of Sketcher Shape Up shoes. I asked her to get me one but she could not make up her mind on the color/material of two different models so she brought both pair home. I could not make up my mind either so I kept both pair. They are $115 retail and I think she got them for 68 bucks each. I have such a hard time finding shoes I like, I thought what the heck, I liked both of them so.........

Let us know if they live up to the hype or if they're just another over-priced pair of tennis shoes.  :)

The build quality is very good. I walked several miles in them today the feel is different, but they feel like you are walking on a soft surface. Way better than my 10 buck Wal Mart specials.
I'm a big fan of Skechers in general... just bought a pair... especially if you have a factory store near you, you can always get some on sale, and usually you can get one pair full price, the second half price.  Haven't looked at the shape-ups because they are damn expensive--around $140 street.  But I've gotten a few other pairs there in the $30-50 range that were really comfortable and well wearing.
The Wifey paid somewhere around 68 bucks for each pair at Kohls she has a credit card there and gets like 30-40% off on select days. This purchase was on one of those select days.
