Fucking a!

Glad it's not me...
Tell the kid to mow Oprah's lawn.  ;)
Precisely why I have all web, texting, and any other features except for sending and receiving phone calls disabled both in the phone and on Verizons end as well. They tried to tell me they could not, so I told them, then I have to look into another company, and they capitulated. I pay $68 bucks a month that is as high as I want to go with my cell phone bill. My plan is no longer offered so when I go for new phones in a year or so I will have to up that another ten bucks unless they offer something better for the same price. I may go with sprint as well but we have a Verizon capable cell tower in our community, so I have full bars all the time here so I would have to see how sprints reception is around here.
speak from experience.

verizon has the best coverage in the nation, bar none.

I was personally involved in cell site build out in the 80s in oregon, washington, california, arizona etc...

I love my iphone, but AT& T service is absolutely shitty.  I still drop 5 calls + per day.  I put up with it cuz I  really like the iphone.

Yeah, that's not really the issue though.
An $18k cell phone bill is just stupid.  IMO if your bill hits $200 over the normal amount in a month, your cell phone company should call you and tell you, or put a hold on the account, or something.

Something like this happened to me when I had AT&T a long time ago.  We went over our minutes and they started charging us some ridiculous amount like a dollar a minute.  Wisely, though, they called me, and said, hey, you can upgrade to the next plan for $30 a month... instead of totally fucking me.  I thought that was a rare moment of decent customer service from a telco.

I agree Verizons cell service is excellent, I live in Arizona and there are simply hundreds and hundreds of miles where there is nothing man made around, and most likely there will be cell service. On the way to Vegas, there is no service for a hundred miles however but there is nothing man made including cell towers out there.

I weny over a lot on my Verizon bill. I noticed it almost at the end of the month. I called them and my bill at the time was $600 bucks. They offered to let me change to the unlimited plan and saved my ass. So my bill was $99 bucks instead of $600 plus. Saved over 500 bucks with a phone call.

It was during my job change and I had no idea I would need my phone for work that much. After my 3 month period, they picked up my phone bill completely and gave me a 32 Iphone.

Problem, I now have AT&T. I travel for work and the coverage sucks ass. I drop calls all day. No telling how many. Verizon was 10 times better for travel. Fucking full coverage one minute, drop a call, 2 minutes later full coverage, (signal I mean) AT$T just sucks.
