Not really - it just was finally not blazing hot for a couple of days...and it rained a little.

Now we're back to 100 almost every day here in Austin. I'll take 100 here over 100 in Florida any day, though...it's much more tolerable because it's breezy here in the hill country.

Things here are great - the band's playing regularly, wife and kids are doing really well. Life is good. So far the economic downturn hasn't really affected Austin all that much. Rich people are still hiring the band for their parties, so that's a good thing.

Looking forward to checking out the new board, looks like there are lots of options and such. Charger did a pretty nice job throwing it all together, huh?

But I think what I need to do is... find a picture of a - oh I'm sure you know what I'm going to say next - BROWN M&M that I could use as my avatar! :D ;D

That wouldn't be too tacky or obvious, would it? It's all tongue in cheek fun anyway.

Stratty, I've looked but cannot find any cool pictures of Brown M&Ms, so I have to settle for what I have now. Your idea of an animated smiley BMnM sounds good though! Hopefully someone out there will make one, and then I'll just use that. ;D

Why did I choose the name "Brown M&M"? It's the Van Halen reference, of how on their tour rider they demanded that there be no brown M&Ms backstage. Since I love EVH's playing, and this was a guitar / music forum, I went with it. :)
