lots of tunes - really nice voice imo.

Is she a friend of yours? She's a very good singer, but not super distinctive to me... and goddam the volume of those recordings is low! I went right to Kathy's song, because I friggin love that song.
The great thing about youtube is there are a million people doing killer covers on it. In fact, I've recently discovered that no matter how much I hate a song, there's a cover online of it that will make me think, "this song is great." There are people out there making Miley Cyrus songs sound like little masterpieces.
The bad part about youtube is that one of those people on youtube doing killer covers could write an amazing original song, and we'd never hear it.
nah, I don't know her at all... just stumbled across her stuff while searching out some Swedish folk music. I don't often dig singers but sometimes there's something that gets me. I think it might be that she's not trying to sound distinctive, now that you mention it! heh.
+1 on the volume. She sounds pretty good though.
And, I might have to make this my signature line here...
just stumbled across her stuff while searching out some Swedish folk music.
:o :o ;D
heh, I'm trying to understand plankton and opeth better... ;D
folk music with harmonic minor is pretty killer.
I'll have to remember to turn the volume back down when I listen to your 17 min jam again. lol. Youtube is pretty cool. I just let it roll while working in the shop. It will eventually make me snap my head around to see what's playing.
It's amazing the stuff that's on here. Whole albums. (Term is relevant again)
Speaking of Swedish Folk Rock how about some Arbete Och Fritid from '70's? :D
I'm listening to their (second) self-titled album from 1973 right now. :)
It features such classics as
Petrokemi Det Kan Man Inte Bada I! (You cannot bathe in petro-chemicals.) ;D
If your name begins with an "H" just move along. ;)
swedish folk rock jam band... heh, interesting
Never heard the original but that was easy on the ears - graceful voice.
